International Forum on Integration of Migrants and Refugees
The forum takes place as part of Action 5 of the EUSBSR Policy Area Education, “Recognising potential – easing the way for migrants”. It focuses on exchange of best practice for smoothening integration into the society, and developing and testing methods and systems that facilitate integration.
The forum we are inviting you to participate in will be held during two half days (lunch to lunch) on the premises of the Hamburg vocational school Berufliche Schule Anckelmannstraße, which itself is an active player in the matter by offering preparatory vocational training for migrants.
The main goals of the event are to support institutions and organisations in their efforts to facilitate the integration of refugees and migrants into education, labour market and society by providing a forum where they can exchange experiences and learn about innovative concepts.
With the forum we would like to offer networking opportunities for about 100 participants from selected organisations representing public and private sector from the Baltic Sea Region. Participants will have the opportunity to take part in up to six selected thematic workshops and discuss the needs and gaps as well as to exchange good practice.
