The Baltic University Programme

Internationalization in practice

Welcome to the Baltic University Programme

In these difficult times, the Baltic University Programme take responsibility and follow the scientifically backed recommendations provided by Public Health Agency of Sweden. Thus, some of our activities have been cancelled. The BUP secretariat will continue to follow the recommendations and restrictions from the health agency, trusting in their evidence based decisions.

However, we hope that the situation will change for the better in a few months and that we will be able to hold the Symposium 2020. Therefore, we still keep the registration for the BUP Symposium open. We encourage the applicants to register and we prolong the deadline until the 12th of April 2020 with the possibility to withdraw latest on the 23rd of July 2020.

Stay healthy!

Since 1991 The Baltic University Programme (BUP) has worked to find novel ways of interaction and cooperation among universities by promoting openness, internationalization and mobility. Our main aim is to support the build of strong regional educational and research communities. The Programme is committed to gain and disseminate knowledge in the fields of sustainable development, environmental protection, nature resources, democracy and Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). We are a member organization, with 86 Member Universities, most of them situated in the drainage area of the Baltic Sea.
