Please follow these instructions to subscribe to the calendar in Outlook on Windows:
- Copy the calendar link.
- Switch to the calendar view in Outlook.
- Right click My calendars (or Other calendars), select Add calendar, select From Internet.
- In the dialogue that pops up, paste the calendar link.
- Approve the subscription.
The calendar is now available in Outlook. Check the checkbox besides the new calendar to view it.

Green spaces in times of an increasing urbanization: On the challenges of making sustainable cities
In this session of the BUP seminar series “Space Bridges 2.0”, focus will be on green spaces in times of an increasing urbanization. It discusses the challenges of making cities more sustainable from a planning and governance perspective. It represents the Estonian contribution to the seminar series.
Democracy as a Prerequisite for Sustainability?
The BUP's Space Bridge 2.0 series concludes with this topical presentation focused on three key topics within the BUP's remit; democracy, climate change and sustainability. The relationship between all these concepts will be explored in detail. This session has been coodinated and will be hosted by Łodz University of Technology, Poland.

The Baltic University Programme organises an online symposium highlighting sustainability research within a Baltic Sea Region context.
The online BUP Symposium 2021 will highlight sustainability research within a Baltic Sea Region context. Attending the symposium as a listener is open for all. Colleagues are invited to share their research in oral presentations and posters. The symposium is an arena where to start off discussions and collaborations. We will offer networking possibilities as an important aim of the symposium is to act as a platform where the regional educational and research communities can get together and get to know each other better as colleagues.
Colleagues who want to present their research need to submit an abstract before 22 May 2021.
Registration for listeners opens in August 2021.
Both presenting and listening are free of charge.
Uppsala University hosts the coordinating secretariat of The Baltic University Programme (BUP). The Programme currently has 93 Participating Universities, situated in the Baltic Sea Region. The BUP is around since the early 1990s, actively working for sustainable development and democracy in the Baltic Sea Region.
